Oxford’s British Orchard Nursery in Wheatley was officially opened on November 29th by the Right Honourable Gill Sanders and Dr Vandana Gandhi (Founder of British Orchard Nurseries). Gill Sanders an Oxford City Councillor and of an educational background was very complimentary of the nursery as she cut the ribbon and enthused by Dr Vandana Gandhi’s British Orchard Nursery chain across the UAE. Honorary guest Sir Christopher Ball who has a knighthood in education was also in awe of Oxford’s British Nursery in Wheatley as he was shown round the eco setting which embraces an organic approach to children’s development in a calm learning environment. Members of the Wheatley community attending the opening with their young children and babies, were inspired to enrol with immediate effect of the nursery. Lorraine Wheatley (UK Director of British Orchard Nursery) was overwhelmed with the support and attendance on the day, she said how the numbers of children and babies attending is growing rapidly as word is spreading. If you are looking to enrol or have a show round then call Kirran Lallie the Nursery Manager on 01865 873259.
